Walk Well
Our greatest testimony is not the WORDS we say, but the lives we LIVE
#
Repentance is not perfection, but a new direction
#
Blame keeps us stuck; truth moves us forward
#
Temptation isn't a sin, but a cue to walk in the Spirit
#
Sometimes what looked like a setback, was God setting you up for a new opportunity

POLR is more than a meeting - it's a safe place to be real, a spiritual place to grow deeper and a recovery-focused place where healing and hope come to life.
No Pressure, No Hype…Just Hope
Some days we’re strong, some days we’re weak. In Christ, we build one another up - not by judgment, but through grace, encouragement, truth and love where hope is restored.

No. We welcome anyone with any life issues, be that addiction or distress, to join us and find healing and hope through shared recovery and the name of Jesus.
-
We use the 12 Steps of Path of Life Recovery, adapted from the 12 Steps of AA, biblically focused.
-
We have 9 POLR meeting guidelines:
Silence or turn off phones in the meeting. Respect the room - remove distractions
Keep the conversation Christ-centered.
What’s said here, stays here.
Speak for yourself. Share your own story, not someone else’s. Keep in on your recovery, your choices, your responsibility. (No blaming, deflecting or preaching.)
No cross-talk or fixing. We don’t interrupt, give advice in the middle of someone’s share, or correct them. Listen with respect.
Be respectful and honest.
Honor the group with your time. Be on time whenever possible.
No offensive language. Foul or crude talk has no place at POLR. We honor God and each other with our words.
Celebrate progress. We applaud steps forward, no matter how small.
-
The floor is opened after the daily reflection is read, for any and all who wish to share, but it is not a requirement.
