The POLR House, a women’s sober-living house located in Thibodaux, La.—serving our local correctional facilities by providing those released from incarceration the best opportunity to transition successfully into the community as productive citizens.

Your support directly impacts lives by covering operational expenses for the POLR House right now and for future facilities with a goal to reach and restore 100 women and men every year.

I was released from jail 6 years ago, but the only place I had to go was the same  toxic environment I was in.

I was living  in a garage, in a toxic relationship where drugs were being  used and sold right next to me. I was right back where I started.

I wanted better, so I listened to worship music and called on the name of Jesus.  It was hard to stay on the right path in those  surroundings. I prayed continuously for the Lord  to pull me out of that situation.  Not long after, He did.

He made a way for me to get to a safe place. This then became the desire  of my heart. I wanted for other women who were coming out of jail to have a safe place to go where they could transition back into the real world and begin their road to recovery, where they could be FREE!! In August, by God’s provision, through POLR and the support of the community, we opened the doors to the POLR House where I stepped into my calling to be the house mother.

I am forever grateful for all that the Lord is doing in my life and through the Path of Life Recovery ministry.

A Letter from Kristi, POLR House Mom

Walk Well

Our greatest testimony is not the WORDS we say, but the lives we LIVE

#

Repentance is not perfection, but a new direction

#

Blame keeps us stuck; truth moves us forward

#

Temptation isn't a sin, but a cue to walk in the Spirit

#

Sometimes what looked like a setback, was God setting you up for a new opportunity
